The Power of Degreasers
Grease is stubborn, but the right cleaner makes all the difference. You can use a commercial degreaser or make your own.
DIY Degreaser
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. For tougher grease, add a few drops of dish soap. Spray the surface and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to break down the grease.
Cleaning Glass Cooktops
Sprinkle baking soda over the greasy areas. Spray with vinegar (it will fizz). Cover with a hot, damp towel and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wipe clean with a microfiber cloth.
Cleaning Gas Burners
Remove the grates and burner caps. Soak them in hot, soapy water. Scrub with a non-abrasive sponge. Dry thoroughly before reassembling.
